But when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber: and when thou hast shut thy door, pray unto thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Also when ye pray, use no [a]vain repetitions as the Heathen: for they think to be heard for their much babbling.

Be ye not like them therefore: for your Father knoweth whereof ye have need, before ye ask of him.
